Motorcyclist killed in crash with a car in Morecambe
A motorcyclist died after a collision with a car in a residential street in Morecambe yesterday afternoon.
The biker, thought to be in his thirties, was travelling along Devonshire Road in the resort when his bike collided with a Kia Rio.
Police have so far not named the rider, but say his family have been informed.
Officers have issued an appeal for witnesses to the smash.
A spokesman said: "If anyone has any information, please call 101 quoting log number 739 of May 2."
It is not known if the driver of the car suffered any injuries.
