Police have renewed their appeal for help to find a man who has been missing from his home since Sunday.
Paul Farley left his home on Moor Lane in Coppull, near Chorley, at around 2.30pm on Sunday to buy cigarettes and has not been seen since.
He is thought to be travelling in his white Renault Kangoo van which was last spotted on the A80 at Castlecary, near Falkirk in central Scotland, at around 8am on Tuesday.
He is still believed to be in this area and may be sleeping in a tent somewhere in Scotland.
Paul is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall and with short grey hair. He was last known to be wearing a blue crew-neck top and black trousers.
PC Neil Weaver, of Chorley police, said: “We are growing increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of Paul and would urge anyone who may have seen him or who knows where he may be to get in touch as soon as possible.
“Similarly I would urge Paul, if he sees this appeal, to get in touch to let us know that you are safe.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Lancashire Police on 101, quoting log number 0237 of October 26.
