Missing girl, 14, last seen in Blackburn found 'safe and well' in London

An urgent appeal was launched to help find a missing 14-year-old girl who had last been seen in Blackburn.

Police said they were "extremely concerned" for her welfare after she was last seen in the town at around 1pm yesterday (Tuesday, February 2).

Officers launched an appeal to help find her earlier today (Wednesday, February 3), but they have now confirmed she has been found "safe and well in London".

"Many thanks for all your help and shares", a spokesman for Lancashire Police said.
