Men on the loose after knifepoint robbery

Two men are on the run after robbing a shop at knifepoint.

Lancashire police have launched an appeal to catch the men who targeted Mace convenience store on Blackpool Road, Fulwood, Preston.

One threatened a member of staff with a knife and took cash from the till.

The incident happened at around 10.15pm on Sunday 14, December. Both of the men fled the store across Blackpool Road towards Broughton Street.

Both men are described as white. The first was wearing a blue hoodie, grey tracksuit bottoms and grey trainers. The second was wearing a black jacket, grey tracksuit bottoms and grey trainers.

DC Will Hogan, of South CID, said: “Thankfully the staff member was not injured but he has been left shaken by this incident. I would appeal to anyone who saw anything or has any information about what happened to contact us.
