The Mayor of Preston put on his dancing shoes for an amazing night of motown, which raised more than £2,500 for St Catherine’s Hospice.
Coun Nick Pomfret and his wife Barbara hosted the event at Deepdale Club which welcomed motown singer T-Kay. The sell-out event attracted more than 180 guests who danced the night away while raising funds for St Catherine’s Hospice.
They also enjoyed a buffet supper courtesy of the catering team from the hospice and The Mill – St Catherine’s new café which opens in the grounds on November 24.
The food was donated by James Hall and Company – the Lancashire wholesaler and distributor for Spar convenience stores. In total the event raised an £2,587 which will help fund the hospice.
