Man’s death treated as ‘unexplained’

The death of a man found at a house in Chorley is being treated as unexplained.

Police were called to Cotswold Road at 2.20pm on Monday afternoon, after concerns were raised about the wellbeing of a 58-year-old man.

The man was found dead inside the property. He has not yet been formally identified.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said the death was being treated as “unexplained.”

A post mortem examination is due to take place on Tuesday.
