Shane King, 23, from Bamber Bridge was attacked by four teenage girls in Skelmersdale.

Shane King, from Bamber Bridge near Preston, thought he was picking his partner up for a date but walked into a world of trouble when he arrived at her house.

The 23-year-old found himself locked in her home before four of his partner’s teenage girlfriends attacked him - leaving him needing stitches.

“It left me really shaken up,” Shane said. “I ran around the house while they tried to hit me and eventually escaped out of the front room window.

“She set me up.”

Shane says he had been dating the 19-year-old girl from Skelmersdale for months and can’t think of a reason why she would have turned on him.

“Everything had been going really well and this just came completely out of the blue,” said Shane, who works as a cleaner in Morrisons.

“Me, her and her mum were meant to be going out for a meal together so I went to pick her up from her house.

“When I got there, four of her friends were there and locked me in the house before hitting me on the head with a bottle.

“The four of them then started hitting me as I ran through the house trying to find a way out.

“I lost my shoe half way up the stairs and all the windows were locked but luckily the one in the front room was open and I got out.

“Needless to say she’s my ex-girlfriend now but I still can’t think of any reason why she would have done this.”
