Man dies after lorry accident in Heysham
A male pedestrian died after he was in collision with a lorry on the Heysham bypass early this morning.
Lancashire Police received a call from the lorry driver at 6.55am to inform them that he had come into collision with the man, believed to be in his 20s.
The road was closed immediately after the accident and still remained closed at 12.20pm this afternoon.
Officers are still seeking to formally identify the victim.
