Man charged after paramedic punched in Preston
A paramedic was attacked while trying to help a man found collapsed in the street in Preston.
Preston police were alerted after a 23-year-old man was found unconscious in Miller Road, Ribbleton, shortly after midnight today.
The man then allegedly sprung up and punched the paramedic trying to help him.
Police said the man, from Ribbleton, has been charged with common assault.
He was bailed to attend court in July.
