Hundreds of people attended a Lancashire hospice’s ‘Yellow Day’ garden fete.
The grounds of St Catherine’s Park in Lostock Hall were filled with activities and attractions throughout the day.
From fairground rides, inflatables, garden games, and a mobile farm, to live entertainment, refreshments, and stalls, there is something for everyone to enjoy whilst supporting a much-loved local cause.
The fun day also saw the return of the daring sponsored firewalk challenge, with dozens of supporters braving the heat to help fund the specialist care offered by St Catherine’s.
Lorraine Charlesworth, director of community and income, said: “Yellow Day is such a wonderful occasion in which we welcome our communities into our beautiful grounds of St Catherine’s Park – the atmosphere was brilliant and there was so much to see and do. New attractions this year included a mobile farm and birds of prey.”
