Lancaster fell runner accused of attempted murder

A champion fell runner from Lancaster accused of attempting to murder a former England rugby player has appeared in court.

Lauren Jeska, 41, now of Wesley Terrace, Machynlleth, is also accused of unlawfully and maliciously wounding, with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm, two other men.

She is further charged with being in possession of three bladed articles – a 12cm kitchen knife, 13cm kitchen knife and a bread knife.

She is due to stand trial at Birmingham Crown Court on September 22.

Jeska, who was remanded into custody, is due to appear at the same court on June 16 for a plea and case management hearing.
