Dog was dangerous

A WOMAN who was found guilty of having a dog dangerously out of control has been fined £275.

Natasha Lowe, 22, of Clock Face, St. Helens, stood trial at Preston Magistrates’ Court, where she was convicted of the offence.

The court heard a man was injured in Hunter’s Lane, Tarleton, near Preston,on June 22.

Magistrates ordered Lowe to pay £150 compensation, a £25 victim surcharge and £250 court costs.

PRESTON: A woman has been jailed after admitting theft.

Tracy Jamieson, 35, of Lancaster Road North, Preston, stole perfume.

Preston magistrates heard she had failed to comply with court orders and jailed her for eight weeks.

She must pay an £80 victim surcharge

PRESTON: A convicted sex offender is to be sentenced for failing to comply with his conditions.

Biaron James Cross, 25, of no fixed abode, admitted the charge when he appeared before Preston magistrates.

He will appear before Preston Crown Court on January 16 and was remanded in custody.

ASHTON: A man who failed to give a blood test when asked to by police has been fined £660.

Gary Mounsey, 48, of Beech Grove, Ashton, Preston, admitted the offence to Preston Magistrates Court.

PRESTON: A man has admitted damaging a pub sign and door frame.

Anthony Royle, 34, of Stocks Road, Preston, admits committing the offences at the Lamb and Packet in Preston.

He was discharged for six months but must pay £170 compensation, a £15 surcharge and £85 costs when he appeared at Preston magistrates’ court.

RIBBLETON: A woman has pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine with intent to supply.

Anita Middleton, 32, of Franklands Drive, Ribbleton, Preston, appeared at Preston magistrates court where she admitted the offence.

The case was committed to Preston Crown Court where she will be sentenced on January 23.

ASHTON: Daniel Bamber, 25, of Victoria Parade, Ashton, Preston, admits two counts stealing perfume and was given a nine week sentence suspended for 12 months, by Preston Magistrates’ Court.

Sean Catterall, 23, of The Brookes, Chorley, admitted assaulting a woman and was discharged conditionally for 12 months, but must pay a £15 surcharge and £150 costs..

Kevin Cardwell, 45, of St Paul’s Road, Deepdale, Preston, admitted possessing cannabis and must pay a £75 fine, £20 surcharge and £85 costs.

Garry Waring, 46, of Ladyacre, Bamber Bridge, was found guilty of failing to give driver information and must pay a £600 fine, £60 surcharge and £300 costs.

Ian Wrona, 41, of Fox Street, Preston, admitted stealing aftershave and was given a curfew, and must also pay a £60 surcharge and £50 costs.

Sean Murray, 36, of Moor Lane, Preston, admits possessing cannabis and was discharged conditionally for six months but must pay a £15 surcharge and £25 costs..

Abdullah Safi, 38, of Eaves Lane, Chorley, admits driving without due care and attention and flouting zig zag markings and must pay a £90 fine, £20 surcharge and £150 costs.

Iain Kirby, 50, of Clive Road, Penwortham, Preston, must pay £100 and keep the peace for six months after admitting breaching the peace.

Nicholas Fell, 29, of Moss Lane, Lostock Hall, admits assaulting a woman and was discharged conditionally for nine months but must pay a £15 surcharge and £85 costs and was given a restraining order.

Johnathan Clough, 30, of Fir Trees Avenue, Ribbleton, admits stealing meat and damaging a glass panel and was discharged conditionally for 18 months but must pay £300 compensation, a £15 surcharge and £85 costs.

Ian Waller, 49, of Fishergate Hill, Preston, admits stealing socks and must do 40 hours unpaid work and pay a £60 surcharge and £85 costs.
