The Lancashire Federation of Young Farmers is hosting a dinner dance to mark its 75th anniversary next month.

The registered charity will celebrate the county federation in style at Blackpool Winter Gardens on February 2.

Past and present members plus the general public are invited to the party.

The evening, sponsored by Craggs Oil and Dunbia, will feature Derbyshire dairy farmer Peter Slack, a third generation hill farmer in the Peak District National Park, as a guest speaker.

Tickets, priced £30 per head, include a champagne reception, three-course meal, talk and live entertainment.

Young Farmers is dedicated to supporting young people in agriculture and the countryside and provides an opportunity for members to develop skills, work with the community, travel abroad, take part in a competitions programme and enjoy a dynamic social life.

The Lancashire Federation has more than 770 members, aged between 10 and 26, based within 18 clubs.
