Kevin Preston, of Drain Doctor North West, roped his son Daniel and his daughter’s partner, Daniel Sinn, to join him in the ride, raising £1,680 for Prostate Cancer UK.
Kevin said: “It did get a little competitive.
“We’d share practice run times and comment on how each other did. When we met our fund-raising goal, we doubled it.
“The fund-raising was the most important part. We’re just glad we’re able to do our bit and have fun in the process. Maybe it’ll be 100 miles next year?
“Drain Doctor regularly contributes to fund-raising activities for charities, such as MacMillan, Cancer Research UK, and Comic Relief.”
Kevin completed the same cycle event, but alongside other franchisees from across the Drain Doctor network in aid of Ronald McDonald House Charities.
