Andrew Wilkinson is organising a Ten Ten Walk through Penwortham, New Longton, Much Hoole and Hutton to raise funds for the charity CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably).
The 10-mile, 10-pub walk starts at the Sir Tom Finney Pub, in Penwortham, at 10.30am on Saturday and will end at The Anchor, in Hutton, where there will be live music from Connor Banks and Luke Bourne, from 8pm.

Andrew said: "This fund-raiser is is memory of my friend, Simon Sharples, who took his own life in December 2014, aged 36. This would have been the sort of event he would have loved.
"I did this for the first time last year with a small group of friends and this year I put it on Facebook to get more people involved.
"All people need to do is visit the JustGiving link and register."
