Firefighters were called to a blazing car which had been deliberately set alight.
Crews were called to the junction of Folly Lane and Barley Cop Lane in Lancaster in the early hours of yesterday.
On arrival, the fire crews were confronted by a car that was well alight. There was no driver or owner at the scene.
It is believed that the fire had been started deliberately as the vehicle appeared abandoned and there were signs of forced entry on the drivers’ door.
Police were informed and their investigations are ongoing.
