A team of 45 firefighters were called to tackle a large barn fire overnight.
Ten engines from across the county were called to a farm complex in Capernwray Road, Capernwray, just after 11pm on Tuesday.
On arrival, crews found a 20m by 30m single-storey building used to store agricultural tractors well alight.
High-volume pumps were needed to tackle the blaze, along with an aerial ladder platform and a command unit was also sent.
There were no casualties and firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to neighbouring farm buildings.
By midnight the fire was under control, but damping down continued into daylight hours,
An investigation is now underway into the cause of the fire.
