The fun day also saw the return of the daring sponsored firewalk challenge, with dozens of supporters braving the heat to help fund the specialist care offered by St Catherine’s.

Lorraine Charlesworth, director of community and income, said: “Yellow Day is such a wonderful occasion in which we welcome our communities into our beautiful grounds of St Catherine’s Park – the atmosphere was brilliant and there was so much to see and do. New attractions this year included a mobile farm and birds of prey.”
