Conlon Construction undertook the work at Grade I listed Gawthorpe Hall at Padiham, which is owned by the National Trust and run by the County Council.

The Jacobean building closed last May for external and internal restoration work including work to stonework and windows.

The stately home, which was resdesigned in the 1850s by Sir Charles Barry, who designed the Houses Of Parliament, boasts an impressive collection of fine furniture, portraits and textiles.
