Bosses of a hospital trust are going on the road to bring greater transparency to its decision-making processes.

The directors of Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust will meet at the Salvation Army building in Shakespeare Street, Southport, at 9am on January 29.

Graham Slee, acting-chairman of the board, said: “We know more and more people want to attend our board meetings. So, we intend to hold some future meetings at community venues where we can accommodate more members of the public and bring the business of the trust closer to local people.”

The agenda will be available on the trust’s website in advance of the meeting. Supporting papers will be available on the day.
