TIME is running out for people to comment on proposals for new council ward boundaries in South Ribble.
The public consultation run by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England will finish on January 6.
The Commission’s draft recommendations propose that South Ribble Council should have 50 councillors in the future, five fewer than the current arrangements.
The proposals mean those councillors would represent 19 two-member and four three-member wards across the borough.
Max Caller, chairman of the Commission, said: “We are keen to hear local views about our boundary proposals before we finalise them in March 2014.
