Golden wedding for Shureen and Andrew Goodfellow

Shureen and Andrew Goodfellow are celebrating 50 years of marriage today.It was love at first sight when the couple met in Greenback pub, in Preston, in 1966.After a few months of courting they knew they were the perfect match and they married a year later in front of family and friends at St Oswalds Church, in Preston.They had five children together and now have 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Shureen, now 69, worked in a cotton mill in Greenbank Street, Preston, whilst Andrew, now 76, worked in building trade.Andrew also spent a few years in the army as a chef. The couple, of Holmeslack Lane, Preston, will be celebrating their golden anniversary by having a party with family and close friends.
