Shureen and Andrew Goodfellow are celebrating 50 years of marriage today.
It was love at first sight when the couple met in Greenback pub, in Preston, in 1966.
After a few months of courting they knew they were the perfect match and they married a year later in front of family and friends at St Oswalds Church, in Preston.
They had five children together and now have 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Shureen, now 69, worked in a cotton mill in Greenbank Street, Preston, whilst Andrew, now 76, worked in building trade.
Andrew also spent a few years in the army as a chef.
The couple, of Holmeslack Lane, Preston, will be celebrating their golden anniversary by having a party with family and close friends.
