It may be August, but a giant igloo is turning heads in a Lancashire village.
New Longton Methodist Church has had a holiday bible club, with 70 children attending. The theme is Polar Explorers, and an igloo made out of thousands of milk bottles has been built.
There are between 4,500 and 5,000 milk bottles in the construction, collected by churches, businesses, coffee shops and lunch clubs.
It has taken months of collecting bottles, hours of gluing them together, and hours of construction, but organisers say it has had a big impact on the local community, with people walking past stopping to ask about it.
