Birmingham Stage Company are returning to Preston with their Olivier Award nominated production of Gangsta Granny.

The stage adaptation of David Walliams’ much loved children’s book is at Preston Guild Hall from Wednesday, May 2, to Sunday, May 5.

The Stage Company search for a local young dancer from each part of the country they visit and found a young dancer Meg Dixon who will perform a solo number in the show.

Meg, age 17, has been dancing since the age of four.

She said: “I am very excited to be performing at my local theatre. The Charter Theatre at Preston Guild Hall holds some very happy memories for me.”

Some show times have sold out, but tickets are still available for some performances.
