Four people were injured today in a multi-vehicle accident on the M6 in Lancashire.
Three women and one man were hurt in the pile-up on the northbound carriageway between junction 34 at Lancaster and junction 35 at Carnforth.
The northbound carriageway was completely blocked for a time after the crash at around 11.10am, causing major delays.
Around an hour later, one lane had been reopened.
Firefighters and paramedics also attended the incident.
It is believed the injured, who were said to have non-life-threatening injuries, were taken to hospital.
