Forton man charged with attempted murder
A MAN has appeared in court accused of the attempted murder of a woman.
Police were called to a home in Forton at around 1.40am on Friday, after receiving reports of a disturbance, where they found a woman in a ‘distressed state’.
Leon Stobbart, 23, of Willow Close, Forton, was arrested and later charged with the attempted murder of the woman.
He was due to appear before Preston Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
