Two people had to be cut free from a car after a smash on a Lancashire road.
Police, fire crews and paramedics were called to the A59 at Sawley near Clitheroe, after a crash involving two cars in foggy conditions.
Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to cut the roof from one of the cars and free two casualties.
Three people were taken to Royal Preston Hospital with injuries, which were not thought to be life threatening.
The crash, involving a Rover 45 and a Volkswagen Golf, happened at about 11am on Sunday.
The road remained closed for more than two hours for an investigation to take place and for debris to be cleared.
Station Manager Phil Whittaker, who attended the scene, warned drivers to take care in foggy conditions.
