Firefighters say house blaze in Poulton-le-Fylde was started deliberately

The house in Little Poulton Lane was under construction and Lancashire Fire and Rescue Services say the blaze went throughout the entire property.

A spokesman said: “Firefighters found that the fire was right through the property from the ground floor to the roof of a building.

“They extinguished the fire using one jet and an aerial ladder platform.

“The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate and investigation will soon be underway alongside the police.

“Firefighters are currently still in attendance and there are no casualties reported.”

Crews from Bispham and Blackpool were called to the blaze in the early hours of this morning at 3.45am.
