Fire services called to roadside blaze
Fire crews were called to a roadside blaze in Penwortham this morning.
One fire engine from Penwortham attended the fire involving a van on Channel Way at around 8am this morning (12 December).
The fire started by the side of the road when the engine compartment of the van caught fire.
Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
There were no injuries reported.
