Fire crews tackle shed fire in Grimsargh

Fire crews from Preston and Longridge responded after a shed caught fire in Grimsargh last night (Wednesday, April 22).

The fire involved a wooden shed in the back garden of a home in Carbis Avenue at around 8.40pm.

Firefighters used breathing apparatus, two hose reels, a shovel and a spade to extinguish the fire.

The fire was brought under control within an hour.

No injuries were reported.

The cause is believed to be accidental.
