Fire crews called to tackle tumble dryer blaze

Two people were treated for smoke inhalation after a tumble dryer set on fire at house in Cragg's Row, Preston.

Firefighters manning two engines were called to the home, close to student accomodation for UCLan, at around 7.06pm yesterday, and used a tool kit and thermal imaging camera to put out the flames, a spokesman said.
