Three people were taken to hospital after a van flipped on a Lancashire motorway.
Emergency services were called to the M6, between junction 33 and 32, at 12.50am yesterday.
A van travelling northbound had hit the central barrier and flipped onto the southbound carriageway, where it was then clipped by an oncoming vehicle.
Three people within the car had all managed to escape before fire crews arrived, and were taken to hospital with injuries which were not thought to be serious.
Three fire engines were called to the scene from Lancaster, Fulwood and Preston, and made the scene safe.
Two lanes of the motorway in the southbound direction were closed for recovery of the vehicle.
