Fire broke out in Preston house
A man had to be given oxygen after a fire broke out in the first floor of a Preston house.
Two fire engines from Preston were called to Basil Street at around 5.15pm today.
Firefighters used a hosereel jet to extinguish the fire, and gave oxygen to a man who had breathed in smoke.
The cause of the fire is to be established.
