Lovers of cakes, biscuits and breads will find plenty on offer at a Farmers’ Market on Sunday.

Visitors will be able to buy locally made biscuits, cakes and breads at the popular Farmers’ Market in Cuerden Valley Park.

Family bakers Williams Hand Baked will be there with their range of biscuits made in Preston.

And they will be joined by Cheesecake Charlie with his baked cheesecakes and Sugardoodle Cupcakes.

Those preferring a savoury treat should head for Darwen-based All You Knead’s stall, where they will find artisan breads baked by supporters of the Real Bread Campaign.

These are just a few of the stalls at the country park market, where visitors will also find a wide range of other food stalls providing locally reared meats, vegetables, local cheeses, preserves along with others selling fine local crafts.

Cuerden Valley Park Farmers’ Market is open 10am – 2pm and can be found in and around the Barn Visitor Centre, Berkeley Drive, off Shady Lane, Bamber Bridge, PR5 6BY.
