Exhibition is hot off press

Work by artists from Lancashire's new Iron Press Printmaking Studio will be on display at a leading county theatre next week.

An exhibition will run from May 3 - June 6 at The Dukes gallery in Lancaster.

It is the first show by IPP, a fine art printmaking facility which opened at The Storey, Lancaster, in September.

IPP offers open access to anyone interested in print and printmaking techniques including etching, drypoint, collagraph, carborundum, mono-printing, linocutting, woodcutting and wood engraving.

The i newsletter cut through the noise

The work of around 35 people, from experienced printmakers and professional artists to complete beginners, will be on show during normal Dukes’ opening hours.
