People being urged to report flytippers to Lancaster City Council

Having to stay at home and Lancashire County Council’s household waste and recycling centres being closed is no excuse for this criminal behaviour, said Lancaster City Council.
A Lancaster City Council spokesman said: "With cleansing teams stretched to the limit, please do the right thing and keep your ‘for the tip’ rubbish at home until it re-opens."
Anyone with any information which might lead to the culprits being caught should report it via the on-line form at www.lancaster.gov.uk/fly-tipping.
