Dream place at sport acdaemy

Andrew has been playing the sport for 11 years and will attend the Bristol Academy of Sport from September.

Besides his academic studies, he will get 16 hours of training every week and compete in national and international fixtures against teams as far afield as Canada and the USA.

Andrew then hopes to then gain a scholarship to study and play football in the USA at NCAA Divisional College.

Worden headteacher Chris Catherall, said: “Andrew has worked hard at his game and thoroughly deserves his place on the programme. He is very excited about his move and we wish him well for the future.”
