An exhibition is marking the 40th anniversary of the fine art degree at the University of Central Lancashire.
Recall, by UCLan’s pioneer fine art graduates and lecturers, has been showcased in Lancaster, where the course originated and moved to UCLan’s PR1 Gallery in Victoria Building. It runs until November 29 excluding weekends.
In total 27 of the artists who graduated between 1977 - 1980 are exhibiting, including sculptor Andy Goldworthy OBE who studied at what was then Preston Polytechnic until 1978. Curators Theresa Taylor and Judith Trescatheric both graduated in the same year as Goldworthy.
