Duo set for cross bay trek

TWO friends from Redrow Homes' Abode Lancaster development are all set to put their best foot forward for charity.

Waseem Barnes and Andrea Baldwin are taking on the Cross Bay Challenge at Morecambe Bay in support of CancerCare on August 7.

Their employer Redrow Homes is also sponsoring the overall event to the tune of £1,000.

Participants have the choice of running or cycling a half marathon across the bay from Hest Bank, near Lancaster, or walking seven miles from Silverdale further north, each to the finish point at Flookburgh in Cumbria.
