Drug dealers arrested after hiding stash in Breaking Bad DVD cases

Suspected drug dealers were collared with Class A drugs when police found their stash in a rucksack '“ stuffed inside Breaking Bad DVD cases.

Three men are being quizzed by police after officers pulled over a car and found a rucksack containing snap bags of the drugs inside the boxes.

Breaking Bad is a popular American crime drama television series which follows a struggling high school chemistry teacher who turns to a life of crime, producing and selling crystallized methamphetamine.

Fylde Police posted on its Facebook page: “A vehicle stopped in the St Annes area found the driver being under the influence of drugs....after a search of the vehicle it turns out the driver and occupants were dealing drugs as well. “They at least had a sense of irony by hiding it in Breaking Bad DVD.”

Police spotted a black Citroen Saxo driving erratically on St David’s Road North, St Annes at 4am yesterday.

The car had a strong smell of cannabis emanating from it and when officers searched the car, they found numerous “snapbags” containing white powder, namely Class A drugs.

A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and being concerned with the supply of cocaine.

Two other men, passengers in the car, both aged 27, were arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine with intent to supply.

All three men are from the St Annes area.

The Citroen Saxo was seized by police.
