A man who admitted raping two women in separate attacks is due to be sentenced at Preston Crown Court tomorrow,
Mateusz Otfinowski, of Lord Street, Morecambe pleaded guilty to the rape of a woman on Bridge Street in Lancaster, which happened on March 3 this year.
A 23-year-old student was walking home in the early hours after a night out in the city centre, and was followed and attacked my a man after asking for directions.
An Evofit image was released by police as they tried to find the attacker.
Three months later, on July 26, Otfinowski raped a woman on Cross Street in Morecambe.
The 23-year-old defendant admitted both offences in a court hearing in October.
It comes as Lancashire Police continues its’ We Can Stop it campaign, raising awareness about rape and educating young men about the law.
The initiative promotes the message sex without consent is rape.
