A dog's life has been saved thanks to heroic firefighters.
The fire, which happened at 6:55pm on Friday (April 20) in Sunny Brow, Coppull, crews from Bamber Bridge, alongside two fire engines from Wigan, attended the scene.
The fire, which involved the home's kitchen, saw firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and one ventilation unit to extinguish the fire.

The dog was successfully rescued from the property, with crews in attendance for forty five minutes.
