Delays after lorry and van crash at M61 and M65 junction

A collision between a delivery van and a lorry is causing delays at a busy motorway junction.

The incident happened shortly after 4pm at the junction where the M65 meets the M61 near Walton Summit.

Glass is believed to be covering the highway as a result of the collision and it is causing delays for motorists.

Lancashire Police are in attendance at the scene
