Daffodils bloom early in the north west

Easter eggs may be in the shops, but we haven't even got the Christmas decorations back in the loft.

Fears over a warming climate were again raised as swathes of daffodils have started to bloom.

These bunches, spotted near a wood in Woolton, Liverpool, bemused walkers who were only just exercising-off their Christmas excesses.
