Marie Curie’s Great Daffodil Appeal is running throughout March, with people asked to make a donation and wear a daffodil pin to support people living with terminal illnesses.
There are also Great Daffodil Appeal fundraising events to get involved in locally including collections at Bamber Bridge Aldi on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Community fundraiser, Sarah Fletcher, said: “We need everyone in Bamber Bridge to get behind the appeal by donating and wearing one of our daffodil pins during March.
“Every penny you can give is vital in helping Marie Curie provide free hands-on care to people living with a terminal illness and support for their families.”
It is also possible to pledge £5 to the charity by texting DAFF to 70111.
