A cyclist was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Garstang.
The crash happened on Wednesday at about 4.20pm on Garstang Road.
It is thought a 47-year-old local woman was involved in a collision with a car while on her bicycle.
Police said the car thought to have been involved failed to stop after the crash.
The woman was taken to Royal Preston Hospital with injuries to her head and upper body.
PC Mark Howson from the Lancaster Road Policing Unit said: “I am urging anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has any information about the driver to get in contact with us so we can determine exactly how the collision came to occur.”
