A total of 19 scouts, with leaders, slept in Croston Village Green overnight, raising more than £650 for Shelter.Scout leader Victoria Finlay said: “The idea is that our scouts get some understanding of what it is like to be homeless in the middle of winter. “The scouts collected sponsorship money from family and friends for the event. “We also collected donations from customers of the local pubs on the evening, raising £91 on the night itself. “Early estimate of the total raised is at least £650 which will be donated to Shelter North West. “
