A MUM feared she would be raped by a convicted sex offender who broke into her home at 3am as her three young children were sleeping.
The 31-year-old supermarket worker, whose children are aged between nine and 12, spoke to the Evening Post as vile Jake Allen, of Robin Hey, Leyland, starts a four-year sentence with an extended six-year licence.
He admitted charges of trespass with intent to commit a sexual offence, sexual assault and burglary after Preston Crown Court heard how he groped and grabbed his victim, using lewd language.
She described how her young children, woken by his shouting, watched in horror as he assaulted her.
The single mum, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was wearing only her underwear when she heard Allen’s voice as he came up the stairs at her home.
Today she said: “ I’m speaking out because he will get out and he could do it again and next time the woman might not be as lucky as me.
“I heard him shouting, and I just shouted: “Who is it, get out”. The lock was faulty on my front door.
“He was having an asthma attack and had a black eyes and scratches, but his inhaler was not working.
“But it didn’t stop him. He kept leaning in to kiss me, asking if I knew who he was. He was confused, he seemed drugged up, and kept saying different names but eventually he said his own name and I realised I knew of him.
“I had never spoken to him before but his family live locally.
“Every time I tried to get away he pulled me on top of him. It was horrible. I thought he was going to rape me.
“He kept saying I was gorgeous and he wanted to stay in bed with me.
Allen then exposed himself and tried to kiss the petrified mum, who was trapped on the bed, and fearing for her children’s safety.
She managed to get out of the bedroom by convincing him she needed the toilet, but he followed her downstairs and cornered her in the living room.
Her ordeal, in the early hours of May 24, only ended when she was able to mouth to her sobbing children to use her mobile phone to call a friend who lived nearby.
Her friend who lived a short distance away came to the address and found the front door wide open.
He threw Allen out and the thug was arrested on Robin Hey two hours later.
He will only be released when prison chiefs consider him not to be a danger to the public any more.
