Young child hospitalised with 'arm injuries' after incident with dog in Leyland

A young girl was rushed to hospital after an incident involving a dog on Sunday afternoon (February 28).

The incident occurred in Leyland Way at around 1pm on Saturday, February 28.

The child reportedly "received injuries to her arm" and had to be taken to hospital for treatment.

Police said the owner of the dog did stop at the scene, but the child's mother did not obtain his details.

Officers are now appealing for the man to come forward.

The man, believed to be in his 30s, had dark brown hair and was carrying a red boot bag at the time of the attach

He was walking a dark brown dog.
